• SC Exit Survey: To better understand the factors that underlie Clinical Faculty decisions to leave the NIH IRP, we are soliciting the perspectives of departing Staff Clinicians. These perspectives are a critical part of efforts to attract talent and retaining existing staff. The survey link is here and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
• SC Cohesiveness Efforts: To improve our community through familiarity we are scheduling multiple fun networking get togethers throughout the year both on and off the NIH campus.
• SC Orientation: To welcome and educate new Staff Clinicians. Outline the role of the Staff Clinician at NIH and discuss professional development opportunities and resources available to Staff Clinicians.
• SC Sponsored Grand Rounds: Presentations targeted towards professional development, mysteries of academic medicine, leadership, and work-life balance for clinical faculty.
• Unified Web Presence: We are striving to standardize the web presence of all Staff Clinicians across the NIH in one place.
• Mentoring: Please reach out to the Staff Clinician Council at SC_Council@nih.gov if you would like to serve as a mentor or be paired with a mentor.
